Xbox 360 Sabotage!

If this doesn't break your heart, nothing will.

Some heartless fiend(s) took it upon themselves to sabotage the cooling system in my Xbox 360, thus causing it to overheat and push its last graphic to the attached screen. Who would do such a thing? Who would go to such lengths to take me out of the game? I have my round of suspects, and I promise you, they will pay dearly.

Three folks for differing reasons are currently under suspicion:

• B’hab the Backhanded. After trading blows and surpassing each other’s high scores in the Pacifism mode in Geometry Wars 2, B’hab must have quickly come to the realization that he can only beat me by blocking out the sun. Way to play fair, buddy; way to play fair! Plus, B’hab confessed to the ransacking of my cubicle earlier this year, making him a prime candidate for this foul deed.

• Benenate the Betrayer. First, I’ve been betrayed in the past by this fellow; he has a long history of wreaking traitorous havoc, while completely unprovoked. Second, he’s just recently overcome my Sequence mode score in Geometry Wars 2. What better way to establish high-score security than to put the kibosh on my Xbox 360 console!

• Fejj the Towering. The Xbox 360 has proved a significant distraction from the PC game titled “World of Warcraft.” By knocking the Xbox out of commission, where else could I go for gaming? Although you may not have an established history of having wronged me in the past like both B’hab and Benenate do, that only means one thing: bravo! – you were subtle enough in your treachery for me not to notice.

So laugh it up while you can, jerks! In two months’ time, a replacement console will greet me at my doorstep, and those deviant chuckles will turn instantly to bitter wails!
