We Don’t Care About Our Workers

Our story begins at the Morning Workplace Planning Center, where the Decision Makers use their deft judgment to determine whether or not folks like those who work in the Jerk Lab must come to work, all depending on the safety of travel.

“Look at the snow, it’s coming down in droves,” remarked Decider One.

“Should we give the coming workers a short delay, so that the plows may first clear the road?” asked Decider Two, an obvious apprentice of Decider One.

“What? Are you all kinds of nuts?! We hate our workers!” cried Decider One, slapping Decider Two on the back of his head.

“Oh yeah!” Decider Two remembered, recalling his training sessions.

“The roads are covered with snow, but passable – if you are moving at ramming speed in a 4×4, that is! Ha! I have a song to sing, Decider Two,” stated Decider One, who was suddenly in the mood.

“A song?! I love songs! Sing it on the mountain!”

Decider One continued: “I’ll just sing it right here. There’s too much snow on the mountain.

“We don’t care about our workers,
We hound them everyday!
We send them out in the sleet and snow
In the hopes they don’t make it okay!

“We don’t care about our workers,
Don’t believe a word of what they say!
If they bash or smash their cars,
It’s one less soul we have to pay!

We don’t care about our workers,
We hound them everyday!
We send them out in the sleet and snow
In the hopes they don’t make it okay!”

And the only result of that line of thinking lands you into one of these.
